Lumberyard Music Hall is a live-music venue in downtown Bastrop, located at 1109 Main Street. Most Friday and Saturday evenings there will be music by one of the area’s fine bands, with plenty of fun and dancing to go along with it.     The Lumberyard building is also the home of Bastrop Academy of Music.

Bastrop Community Chorus and Bastrop Community Orchestra are separate groups that provide outlets for singers and instrumentalists in the area. Each group rehearses weekly in preparation for concerts throughout the year, usually performing together. The Orchestra rehearses each Tuesday at 7:45 p.m., the Chorus each Thursday at 7:45 p.m., both at the Lumberyard Music Hall.
